This rare original “Sitzmaschine”(” sitting machine “) from 1909 was produced by Jacob & Josef Kohn. It has never been revarnished or retouched; it is in museum quality.
This Hoffmann Model Nr. 670 was first presented at the Wiener Kunstschau of 1908 and was produced by J.& J. Kohn until 1916. The fitted, removable cushion, woven from horses’ hair, was made recently.
